Imagining in the World of Possibility with David Morse
Tuesday Mar 01, 2022
Tuesday Mar 01, 2022
The way you make your clients feel is something that cannot be duplicated by anyone else. At Family Reunion, the way Keller Williams made me feel is something that I will use as fuel to guide our brokerage into Quarters 2, 3, and beyond. Use this same principle in your business. This will create referral and return clients for years to come.
You and I need to get around people doing more than us. I was able to be around leaders of brokerages that are larger than ours in terms of volume and units. I experienced a humbling, a humility that we have so much further we can continue to go. I also felt expectation and hopefulness that we are still on this journey together. And it helped me to think even bigger, like our All In moniker, “Dream Bigger.”
Ask yourself this question: Who am I around that is doing more?
If you are the smartest person in the room–then you’re in the wrong room. There is still more potential in you. You need to be in a community of people who cause you to dream bigger, to imagine in the language and world of possibility.
What is teamerage? A blending of brokerage and real estate team. But where does that leave an individual agent? The future of this industry could not be brighter, and opportunities are all around. We must keep our heads out of the sand and think as strategic business owners. How are you providing the same level of value that these teams on brokerages are providing to clients? Does this mean you need to sharpen the way your run your business? What can you do to your database to ensure the data becomes more useful to you?

Atomic Habits with David Morse and Joe Quattrucci
Tuesday Feb 22, 2022
Tuesday Feb 22, 2022
The book Atomic Habits by James Clear helps us identify what is a habit, how do you recognize different habits, what are the triggers, and how do you take more control of your habits. And the word “atomic” makes us think big, but it really is a very small thing that is a source of immense energy or power. The smaller we can get in our habits, the better success we are going to have.
What is a habit? A routine or practice performed regularly, an automatic response to a specific situation. But how does this relate to our unconscious mind? There is always a trigger or cue that prompts our craving. Craving is a response, a desire to want to take action that creates a reward. And the anticipation of achieving the reward from the craving creates a dopamine spike, the chemical in our brain that makes us happy. The peaks and valleys where dopamine rises and falls affects development of our habits.
How longs does it take to develop a habit? It depends on the repetition of it, not the time spent. There are four laws of behavior change real estate agents can use to create better habits at lead generation or any other area:
- Make it obvious
- Make it attractive
- Make it easy
- Make it satisfying
You can buy James Clear’s Atomic Habits book at Amazon.

Successfully Unemployed Through Real Estate Investing with Dustin Heiner
Tuesday Feb 15, 2022
Tuesday Feb 15, 2022
Growing up Dustin was always entrepreneurial, with a paper route at age 13, a graphic and website design firm, a skateboard manufacturing company, a convenience store and pizzeria. He went to school and believed working a normal 9 to 5 job would be his future. He bought one or two rental properties and knew he wanted to become an investor, but kept his desk job at a local county government in California. When Dustin’s wife had their fourth child, he stayed home from his government job on Paternity Leave. Then after he returned to work, that same week he was laid off, even though he had a dozen years of seniority. The weight of thoughts that he might not be able to provide for his family was crushing.
Dustin realized two things from this experience, and wants everyone to learn them:
- He had to find another job to provide for his family, then started to buy more property and focuses on getting net income of at least $250 on each property per month
- Your value is more than anybody can ever pay you–your value comes from God, yourself, and your family
With his real estate investments growing, after about six more years Dustin was able to quit his job and live successfully unemployed on the income his properties generated.
The right way to develop real estate investments is to build the business first.
- Find all the right people for your business first, such as the Property Manager, Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers, Insurance Agents
- Buy inventory to put into your business
How did Dustin come up with the $250 figure he wants from each property? He makes sure all expenses are covered first, and adds in a buffer to cover expenses s–uch as new roofs or other major repairs. He also uses financing by leveraging income and equity in properties to buy other properties. There are lots of options for financing real estate investments, from mortgages to commercial lending to signature loans. If the deal is good, the money will follow. And now Dustin is driven by how many people he can get involved in buying rental properties and changing their lives for the better!

Achieve Your Apex with Chad Hyams
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Chad initially started his career in the Las Vegas entertainment industry, working with David Cassidy, Tommy Tune, Michael Crawford, and Rick Springfield in the evenings. After his daughter was born, he transitioned into becoming a real estate agent in Las Vegas so he did not have to work late hours, and then got started on a team. He closed 75 transactions in his first year as a buyers agent, becoming Rookie of the Year. After he became team leader, he moved to Bellingham and continued driving forward in his successful career as a team leader and coach. Later he worked as the Area Director for the Southeast Region and grew that to over 10,000 agents. Now he is focused on coaching and hosts podcasts.
What helped Chad be so successful? Confidence, the heart of a salesperson, and the great education at Keller Williams. Joining the team was key to his tremendous success. To get to the next level of performance, he found gaps that needed to be closed. Paperwork is not his strength, so joining the team helped him find resources to take on that aspect. The other gap was closing. Too many people learn scripts to show a house, but they don’t learn scripts to sell a house. We need to get our mindset and scripts right, to learn how to close. Why wait for the other person to close themselves? We need to work to get them to close, to move them along in the process. When joining a team, agents need to understand that they are getting sales leads they might not otherwise ever see. The team leader needs to be clear on how agents can join and what they can expect, and help the agents grow and succeed in business.
Focus on putting SPACE on your calendar:
S: Start of your day
P: Promises you make
A: Advancements in your life
C: Chaos gets scheduled to after 2pm every day
E: End of day should be in mind, planned, for sleep to work our circadian rhythm
Block your whole calendar–because white space on your calendar gets filled with white noise! Be in control of your calendar, and then let your calendar determine your day.

Social Media Marketing and Database Growth with Matt Muscat
Tuesday Feb 01, 2022
Tuesday Feb 01, 2022
After changing his college major from journalism to communications, Matt took a digital marketing course and never looked back. Author of TAG Tangible Action Guide: For Real Estate Marketing, Matt believes people are more likely to remember you when they have multiple contexts. How can realtors differentiate themselves from the pack? Social media is a great place to highlight various personals the realtor can develop to connect with customers. Every realtor should have three different reasons for people to remember them. People can relate to many different aspects that are easily visible on social media platforms. These contacts will eventually be added to the realtor’s database.
Future marketing to these contacts should focus on various topics that are relevant to their interests. A realtor’s personal page is going to help them much more than their business page, because it will showcase information about them. And keep the focus on “social” since realtors should market themselves first, and then market houses. Customers want to have things in common with those they want to do business with. What is the realtor’s main goal? To get a conversation going! Develop a social media plan that highlights the personas, be generous with tagging others, and vary the content. Social media platforms are more likely to bring your content forward when it notes the connections, visits, and views. Matt shares some great tips on how to develop useful videos that address questions received, developing an annual marketing plan, and how to get contacts into a database for future marketing efforts.
You can learn more about Matt Muscat by visiting mattmuscat.com or viewing Matt’s Linkedin profile. Order your copy of TAG Tangible Action Guide: For Real Estate Marketing through Amazon. Please also visit Matt’s marketing company, Maltese Marketing, LLC.

Building a Life by Design Through Profit Share with Aaron Kauffman
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Early in his career, Aaron went from sales job to sales job searching for something he had passion about. This led him to residential real estate because in this industry, the agent is the product. It gave him a sense of being genuine. He joined one of the top Market Centers in one of the top regions for Keller Williams, and his exposure to Gary Keller speaking about growing your profit share through wealth building helped him choose to focus on profit share growth for his career.
Even during market downturns when he took a second job in a restaurant, he continued his focus on profit share by recruiting new agents to Keller Williams. Then he went into teaching his class “The KW Effect” which he has been teaching for over a decade. KW is about what you become, and he never thought he would become what he has. But his goal is to live his life by design through profit share–for Aaron, this means he is not working and still making a million plus a year in profit share. So he then turned to teaching his recruits how to recruit new agents and sponsor people to KW. Now he is in the top 100 of profit share participants at KW. What is Aaron’s secret of success? He is the most persistent and consistent recruiter. And his downline is now passive, growing on its own.
You can learn more about Aaron Kauffman by visiting Moving Careers, hosted by Aaron's independent sponsorship program, Moving Careers, Inc. Please also visit Aaron's Linkedin Profile and his Facebook page.

David and Joe discuss the importance of using your schedule to its best advantage. Time management is critical for today’s real estate industry when both challenges and opportunities require us to spend our time as wisely as possible. Often it takes a ruthless commitment to having a planning block to work on schedules and time management.
Who in your life are you expressing your plans to? Accountability is important to help you stay committed to your plans and adhering to your schedule. If you are committed to your goals, do you have enough reasons to achieve them? That will drive your ability to follow through and take action. Look at your goals, intentions, and plans for the quarter, then drop any hesitations so you can make that commitment. Your standards will determine your follow-through. And you can convince yourself to achieve anything if you have enough reasons!

Best Of All In | David Huffaker and the 6 L’s of Real Estate
Tuesday Jan 04, 2022
Tuesday Jan 04, 2022
Another great “Best Of” episode. This is a replay of Episode 61 featuring guest David Huffaker, founder of the Huffaker Group, the fastest team inside of Keller Williams to ever go to $100,000,000 in annual sales volume.
You don’t do that by accident!
It’s because of his team’s commitment to the 3 L’s of Real Estate that Gary Keller has taught the Millionaire Real Estate Agent for decades. Find out what those are on the show. But it goes beyond the three L’s for David and his company. Now that they’re selling over $100 million per year it’s about building out the triangle into what he calls the “6 L Prism.”
While you might know the 3 L’s of this business you will want to hear everything David has to say about the prism.
On today’s show learn about:
- New Construction sales
- The 6 L’s of Real Estate
- How commitment to database creates explosive growth
