Layne Norton is the founder of BioLayne. He created the company to provide ethical, science-based coaching that synthesized real world experience with evidence based protocols. In his coaching career he has turned over 70 people pro and reshaped the way that countless people think about nutrition.
To that end, Layne completed a BS in Biochemistry and a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, honing his intellectual skills under Dr. Donald Layman, one of the foremost researchers on protein metabolism and fat loss in the world. He has also enjoyed success in bodybuilding, winning a natural pro card in 2006 and competing as a pro in 2010 with his career highlight being a heavyweight class win at the 2010 IFPA International. He has also done extremely well in powerlifting, winning USAPL Nationals in 2014 and 2015 in the 93kg class and finishing with an overall silver medal at the 2015 IPF worlds, including a then world record squat of 303kg (668 lbs).

Brent always wanted to be a real estate rockstar. That’s why as soon as he graduated high school, he began attending real estate seminars, got licensed at 21, and also bought his rentals. With some challenges in finances, he joined the Army in 2009 while keeping his rentals and house hacking right along the side. In 2016 he heard about LAND on a podcast and got hooked to it as his main hustle in the industry, eventually achieving success on it. Now an Army veteran, he’s more focused on growing even bigger in real estate with land as his area of expertise through his company, Land Sharks. Sharing his success with the business community, he also coaches in seminars and provides insights through podcasts and various social media platforms.

Everett “Stony” Stonebraker and Lennon Lee of Passivo Real Estate Investments discuss their backgrounds in real estate and how they came together to become successful in passive commercial real estate. Stony has over 47 years of experience in the real estate industry and is a CCIM designated commercial real estate professional. Lennon is a full-time investor and real estate professional with other 2,000 units of multifamily real estate.
How they met: Lennon was looking for something in commercial real estate that was really passive and simple, and became involved in syndication/pooling investments. Lennon and Stony met after Lennon had already started investing. He was working with a sponsor in New York on his first project. Stony was at a CCIM lunch and Lennon met him there. Stony became Lennon’s first investor outside of his family and friends.

- With your family and friends who know you and trust you
- With effective social media marketing that helps other learn to know and trust you
The goal is to help investors find financial freedom through passive investing investing in commercial real estate. You need to understand their investment goals and they need to understand the risks. Sponsors in a deal should focus on what the investors are seeking, and might seek an acquisition fee, or a percentage of ongoing revenue, or a disposition fee at the end when it is sold. There are many variations to help investors and sponsors make the right investment.
